Who is Toronto Home Theater?

Mike & Jeff met in 2006 while working for the custom home theater division of The Hudson’s Bay Company in downtown Toronto. Jeff was the head of sales & in-store event marketing; and Mike managed and led the in-home consultations & installations. During their tenure at The Bay they quickly realized that there was a better and more modern approach to home theater sales and installation.

In 2007 Toronto Home Theater was founded on two basic ideas: Paying MORE, doesn’t necessarily mean a better quality home theatre system. And selling you MORE than what you need, or even don’t need at all, is just dishonest and unethical. We treat our customers FAIR. We believe in loyalty and customers for life.

We’ve learned that every home theatre project is as unique as the home in which we are installing it, and we believe that delivering the home theater solution that’s right for you is the only right thing to do.

I needed to overhaul a home theatre that was set up about 17 years ago, and Mike found a way to integrate a new projector with the existing components (screen, sound system, etc.) that I had been told by others wouldn’t be compatible with any new display system. I was ready to swap out the whole thing, and am very grateful that Mike talked me out of it (even though it cut into the size of my order from him). I’m extremely happy with the result, and it ended up costing less than half of what I was expecting to pay. Would highly recommend!

Wire phishing is not my thing, and the last time we had someone install cable hiding trim, and it just was not the look we wanted. Always hated that decision. Now with new 75-inch, My LG is proudly hanging with all cables hidden in the wall, and even better, we have the equipment stored in the Pantry on the other side of the Wall. Mike offered a solution we had not thought possible. Enjoyed working with Mike & Chris, both professionals. Thanks.

We just completed installation of a basement home theatre. Mike was super responsive, very informative and provided clear, excellent communication regarding all products ordered.
